Wenneker Triple Sec is based on a cherished age-old family recipe with a base of orange distillate and a very tasty destillate of Curacao orange peels. Other important flavourings are Cinchona and Angostura bark. The ethereal oils included in the distillate can cause Triple Sec to “cloud over”, i.e. it becomes turbid when stored too cool. This will disappear however, when the liqueur is warmed up again. The Triple Sec is one of the most popular flavours in the liqueur family. After all, it is an essential element in the cocktail bar. The most famous cocktail prepared with Triple Sec is the Margarita (Triple Sec with Tequila). Triple Sec is also used in cakes, sweets, the kitchen and confectionery.
