About this product
This environmentally friendly filter medium is made from recycled glass. It is a better alternative to sand, which does not require mining. All gradations are tumbled to remove the sharp edges. It has a number of advantages over filter sand, such as: - More efficient: removes 30% more pollution than sand, saving on water, energy and chemicals. - It does not wear, which means it has a longer service life.
