Planeta - Alastro DOC 75cl Winery: Planeta Grape Variety: Grecanico, Grillo, Sauvignon Blanc Region: Sicily, Italy Alcohol Content: 12.5% Food Pairing: Aperitif, Warm fish appetizers, Smoked Fish appetizers, Pasta with tuna, Sushi-sashimi, Risotto with vegetables, veal with tuna sauce, Medium-aged cheeses. Description: Alastro takes its name from a wild flower that grows around our cellar "Planeta". It is a blend composed by Grecanico, joined to aromatic grapes, Grillo and Sauvignon Blanc. Its delicate structure recalls tropical fruits, fresh citrus fruits and white flowers. It praises the denomination Menfi DOC. The fermentation at 15° starts after the soft pressing and the static decanting of the juice. The aging on lees in inox tanks lasts for 6 months.
