About this product
Bruynzeel Design Pastel Pencils are designed precisely for the needs of artists, designers, and illustrators. These high-quality pastel pencils are crafted with the finest lightfast pigments and Kaolin clay. The 3.7 mm wide-gauge, perfectly centered and doube-glued coloured cores combine with the finest light cedar casings to make them very resistant to breaking. They also hold a point better than most pastel pencils and are a joy to sharpen. These highly pigmented pastel pencils are great for Pastel Painting, Field sketches/cityscapes, illustrators and designers, watercolour, pastel, and mixed media papers. "Of all the pastel pencils I’ve reviewed, I have reviewed quite a range, the Bruynzeel Design Pastel Pencils are by far the softest. Traditionally, pastel pencil cores are quite hard and brittle, which is the reason sharpening is such a hot topic of debate where pastel pencils are concerned." - Review. Available in sets of 12, 24 and 48.
