About this product
NETO SLIP is a translucent white porcelain in liquid for slip casting. Its formula is very stable and provides a secure firing range between 1230 and 1270ºC. Suitable for tableware ( food-safe ), according to ISO 6486. It comes in a practical 3.5-litre (6 kg) / 0.9 gal (13.2 lb) container with a screw cap featuring a security seal and a hermetically heat-sealed foil. Firing range*: 1230-1270ºC / Cone 6-8 Biscuit temperature: 1000ºC / Cone 06 Density: 1.7 g/cm3 Plasticity (IP Atterberg): 11 Carbonate content (CaCO3): 0% Drying shrinkage: 5.8% Firing shrinkage 1250ºC: 11.2% Porosity (water absorption) 1250ºC: 0.0% Dry bending strength: 3.1 N/mm2 Fired bending strength 1250ºC: 51.5 N/mm2 Thermal coefficient 1250ºC (25-500ºC): 63.7x10^-7ºC^-1 (*) Firing range recommended for the clay to develop its best performance, both in terms of technical and safety characteristics, under conventional firing conditions. The colour samples may show temperatures outside the recommended range to provide a broader view, but these are pieces fired under controlled conditions.
