Arran Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength + Tin GB 56,2% 70cl The second edition of Arran's Machrie Moor Cask Strength has landed! Peated to 20PPM, this has been bottled at a generous 58.2% ABV, resulting in a full-bodied flavour profile of classic Arran fruitiness, wafts of peat smoke and a touch of vanilla. The Machrie Moor series is named after a peat bog on the west coast of Arran. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: Ahh yes, Arran! Big tropical fruit notes (think pineapple and you'll be on the right track), though now with a good helping of barrel char and smoky peat. Palate: Developing red berry notes and yet more coastal peat. Full-bodied and enjoyably oily. Finish: A final hint of vanilla and a lasting peaty hum.
