About this product
Description Unico is a basic yarn for autumn and winter with an extensive range of colours. An acrylic yarn recommended for infant jumpers and knitted cardigans because of its softness and durability. Unico is also perfect for making home accessories like crochet covers and playful cushions. Each ball weighs 100 grams and has 266 meters. This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 3 - 6 (U.S.)/(3 - 4 mm) knitting needles and size D3 – G6 (U.S.)/(3 – 4) crochet hooks. 4 balls of yarn are required to make a size 12 woman’s long sleeve jumper. To make a 4x4” tension square work 22 sts and 30 rows. Machine wash up to 30º C on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry.
