About this product

Indigo Powder Country of origin: India Description: Indigo powder is obtained from the ground leaves of the indigo plant and has a very strong smell that is reminiscent of fresh peas. Once a paste is formed the consistency has a dark green shade that slowly converts to blue. The more time the paste is given to oxidize, the darker it becomes - it may appear navy blue to black. Indigo gives the hair increased volume, shine and texture when used to dye the hair. It is ideal for covering grey hair, improves hair manageability, and supplies hydration and protection. Indigo is often used to dye fabrics and can be used as a colour additive for soaps or other skincare products. Application: When indigo is mixed with henna, the paste has a medium to dark brown shade. A rich black colour is obtained when using indigo to dye hair that has been coloured using henna. When used as a dye on its own, the colour result is dark blue. Read the accompanying instructions carefully before applying the product to your hair. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth and do not use on broken skin. Always perform a strand and allergy test before using the product. Note: DO NOT bleach the hair after apply indig
